A number of our clients direct manage, or have outsourced managed state or national property portfolios. HBI has conducted cost effective hazardous material inspections of full property portfolios. This strengthens our clients understanding of the nature of any hazardous materials located within its properties, provides an assessment of the level of risk where hazardous materials have been confirmed, and provides this information in usable and Work Health Safety Act compliant registers.
HBI have worked with this client to prepare a comprehensive hazardous materials (including asbestos) management plan and procedures for its workers, and contractors to follow to mitigate lower level risks, whilst implementing a hazardous materials removal program for moderate to high level risks.
For this role, timing delivery of the service over a very large geographical area (NSW), security and access issues, potential impact to tenants, and full compliance with very strict safety and communication protocols was essential to client satisfaction and has led to significant repeat business including the successful remediation and clearance of a number of site for hazardous materials.
